The film stars Diti, Tony Dias, Azizul Hakim, Afzal Sarif, Rafik Ullah Salim, Apple Mahmud, Emon Saha, Jerald Posman, Andrew Kishore, Michael Arias and Jhona. Rashidul Bari depicts Rashidi, the idealistic biographer of Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus.

Some men change their times—Yunus changed the world for all time as recognized by contemporaries, including President Obama, "Dr.Yunus was just trying to help a village in Bangladesh, but he somehow managed to change the whole world. . . ." While the whole world considers Yunus as innocent as Socrates, why would the Prime Minster of his own country unleash a propaganda machine to perform a character assassin on a man whom Nelson Mandela regards as the "savior of poor people"? Politics? Or something even nastier? This film has the answers.
Rashidi joins Dhaka University to promote Yunus' ideologies about eradicating poverty and corruption. He spreads Yunus' message widely and is in danger after criticizing the Shikh Hasina's positions against Yunus. Hence, politicians unleash their dogs on Rashidi who continues writing in English and Bengali about Yunus. Rashidi becomes the "Bangladeshi James Boswell" to Yunus' Samuel Johnson. Politicians decide to kill Rashidi.

Two years after the film's release, Yunus faces similar challenges from Shikh Hasina, who wants to remove Yunus from Grameen Bank and uses the High Court and Supreme Court to justify the illegal decision.
