  • whats this baffle everyones talks about and how does it make the sound different? awesome vid by the way man

  • baffles make the bike quieter by making the final bore of the exhaust smaller. they also take a little bit of power away.

  • I love the SV650 its what i wanted but a CBR600 was nearer so went with that it has a new full stainless steel exhaust system with a new Scorpion end can but its so quiet been told it has removable baffles but dont know how wish it sounded like this tho.

  • There should be an alen bolt that holds the baffel in place, its on the bottom of your exhaust tip, just take the bolt out and slide the baffle out, might take some persuading to get the baffle out if its been there for a while

  • nice it sounds like an xr250 dirt bike sweet ride

  • I can see where your comming from but my SV650 sounds alot different from my XR250 but the XR has more of an airbox roar due to the snorkel being removed

  • Is the reason the exhaust system is so high up in the air because you like to ride in flooded streets? I don't understand why they are up so high.

  • Google "x-treme laser exhaust". I think the system is about £600!

  • to long exhausts

  • You SUCK..

  • I want a system like that for my 400, and you're right, it is mega cummage!

  • Hey man, howmuch does the full laser exhaust cost, and where the hell can I get it?

  • to be fair = tbf

  • lol oh ya.. got it.. thanks. whats tbf mean though? :P

  • baffles are also needed on some exhausts to quiet them down to pass MOT's and other laws in different countries. If a exhaust isnt stamped *not for road use* then its fine to take the baffle out.. but its all down to the MOT guys, if they think the bike is too loud etc to pass it :) tbf, i think all bikes should be louder than what they are with stock exhausts.. but not too loud that they wake the dead.

  • so...you're saying the take decibels away? which is measurement of sound?
