Not to mention in season 2&3 Ryan welcomed Marissa's helps and kindness whereas he refused to give the least respect, trust and sympathy to marissa . everytime when marissa needed his trust and helps, he took her as a burden. such an ungrateful SOB. He only liked Marissa when it benefited him.

Gemma1616 I agree with everything you said. I think it's too unfair to blame her for everything. Marissa saved Ryan's life twice and lost her wartch and jewelry to save Ryan, what she got in return? Nothing. IMO she could ditch him 10 times and she's still his savior and benefactor. I'm a hugh Ryan fan and even a Taylor fan, but I really don't appreciate Ryan's behaviour in season 2&3. He's an ungrateful SOB to Marissa.

hello. i am a big marissa fan too, she was such a nice, kind character. no matter how screwed up she got, she never really inflicted it on anyone else. But I also think ryan was so mature with the whole pregnancy thing, i mean he was just a kid, yet he chose to dedicate his life to a girl he wasn't in love with. that's pretty nice of him, and he broke up with marissa cause she didn't trust him. so i think it's not like a one sided thing, both characters are pretty nice people! :)

You must be joking. The time Marissa spent with Oliver and Johnny went way beyond the "just friends" stage. Somehow if Ryan had been spending all of his time with some random girl that he was just 'friends" with and ignoring Marissa, he would be an asshole. But when M does it all you pathetic fangirls make excuses for her. And at least Ryan never told Marissa she was glad Johnny was dead. Ryan watched the kid die and she has the nerve to pull that shit with him. Oh yeah, she's the best.

Excuse me, how were Marissa and Oliver more than just friends? Yes, Oliver turned out to be a psycho, but they were only ever friends. How were Marissa and Johnny more than friends? Maybe if Ryan had been there for Marissa and stopped ignoring her, she wouldn't have spent so much time with him. Ryan was flirting with Sadie ALL THE TIME when he was still with Marissa, then dumped her over the phone, and played strip poker immediately after.
