On Monday 05/10/10 the MN Senate voted on the majority Democrat Farmer Labor plan to balance the state budget. Among some cuts the plan also created a new 4th tier income tax which would hurt job creators and individual income tax payers in Minnesota.
This would especially hurt small business owners who flow through their businesses through their personal income tax filing.
Although there was strong bipartisan opposition to the plan it passed by one DFL vote.
