i dont feel sorry for those bugs, because of the sonic blasters they use, when a blast from that weapon hits a living organism, it causes it to rupture its internal organs(that means they explode) i say good riddance

I suppose you could say that those particular Geonosians were already dead and thus they were unable to feel pain. It was only the worms inside their brains that made them able to walk around and those worms were controlled by the hive queen. If the only way to protect themselves from the bugs was to destroy their bodies, I'd say flamethrowers were justified.
