So the people sayin "guilty they admitted it!" have zero clue what an Alford plea is huh? An Alford plea allows the accused to assert their innocence,but at the same time admit that the prosecution had a case and was rightful in their prosecution. The Alford plea is a technique the state can use when they fuck up to ensure no legal action can be taken against them..its specifically to release the wrongfully imprisoned but ensures that they cannot sue for wrongful arrest. They specifically asserted their innocence in their plea. The only thing they admitted is that the State could have convicted them. Which is true given that community is filled with people with the brains of chimpanzees like Kent Arnold.
