  • nope , you just may have to add a thin piece of wood under the pickup ( also with putty) but maybe not depending on your guitar, BUT you will need to NOT use a pickguard for the one I have , as in this video. I can include a few different shims.

  • Does having to shim it affect the ease of installation with the blue putty?

  • @mondodave Hi this is the djangobucker with ceramic magnets and yes works great with archtop but you may need to shim it to get close enough to the strings. I have one made now, 149$ as it has a cosmetic flaw, usually 179$

  • Hey, man -- which model is this? And will the djangobuckers on ebay work on my archtop as well? Really dig the sound...
