He's my favorite character, and my reaction was - Wow, okay, I can accept that death. I was pissed that they were going to kill him off, until I saw it. Now my reaction when he came back was like - YES!!! I was hesitant that the writers would set up a death like that without diverting it. On the other hand it's a good way to give the audience time to say goodbye if they can accept it. Which clearly most can't.
