  • Beautiful, thank you!

  • BIG thanks, will use this everywhere now!!!!! XXXXX

  • what happens when you'll import this course next year? the links still connect to the old course.

  • As far as the questions on how to link to sections, you can view a section, minimize all the others (by clicking the small rectangle in the upper-right of a section) and then copy the URL at that point- if you read the query string (info in the URL) you should see the information about the course and section.

As far as this video, an additional step i would take to make the page even cleaner is to hide section 1- it can't be gotten rid of (there's no option for zero topics/weeks).

  • Awesome video, @UsingMoodle. Very helpful. Thank you!

  • I tried this in my online classroom and the students absolute loved it. I have a video of it on my account.

  • Converteds, don't be lame. It's a course management system for e-learning. If you want to try it out and can't get your head around installing a full course management package check out turnkeylinux and their moodle vm/iso. If that is too complicated, I would suggest contacting a "techie" person and paying them for their knowledge. It is a trade just like any other and skill is not always free. As to the video, nice job

  • Please explain the basics regarding what exactly Moodle is. Is it a website with folders and sub-folders? How and where will I need to add my own customized (non-Moodle) regular website homepage? How can you customize specific Moodle pages, do you have to find relevant HTML pages that you customize with code?

I can not find ANYONE or ANYTHING online that explains the basics of Moodle. So it makes it too complicated for the average, non-techy person to set up.

  • @AlanJHaywood you're right you will need to relink both the images and the images to the correct resources and activities.

  • Wonderful ! thanks for the tip ! :)
