  • The creators of silent hill stated that the games were inspired by Jacob's Ladder

  • That's right. The biggest proof is this quote from the movie: "Eckhart saw Hell too. He said: The only thing that burns in Hell is the part of you that won't let go of life, your memories, your attachments. They burn them all away. But they're not punishing you, he said. They're freeing your soul. So, if you're frightened of dying and... and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth."

  • Yeah, Sh3 was pretty scary and when I first played I didn't get the picture because I didn't know of the alternative endings of SH 1, I've got the bad ending when harry dies. The silent team made a very god connection with SH3, but SH 2 was a true masterpiece in every way.

  • @postenisfun Besides its a game and not a bollywood movie. Then we should get mad. Indian Silent Hill. I mean how do you make a good movie if you think the very idea of making a movie is a waste of time? Anyways, yeah i always love to see pop culture references especially in video games and literature.

  • it's amazing how old the abandoned lower level of Bergen Street is Looks to be in fair shape too. Ironically, they should have used the lower level for the current G train instead of sharing the upper level with the current F train

  • Jes, it's called a reference. Silent Hill is full of them, they love referencing things like Edgar Allen Poe, and Shakespeare, some have even theorized Cell. Gotta love them references. Not stealing.

  • @ChibiPyramid hell yeah! best shit ever! haha

  • that subway train is like the ferry to Hades...

  • @benmorax

Yep, it's the street name on the subway platform that the character Heather has to get to in Silent Hill 3 in order to get home.

  • bergen street isn't it one of the streets we have seen in the subway in Silent hill 3 ?

  • Scariest scene in a movie ever!
