One part of a World Bank forestry and conservation project in Guangxi, south China is seeking among other things to understand and conserve the rich cave fauna of a few key sites. This film, taken in February 2009, records a short but remarkably productive visit to a small, 60 m cave in the SW of Mulun Nature Reserve with Prof. Louis Deharveng of the Paris Museum of Natural History. New species and lifeforms are featured. For a related blog see eapblog.worldbank.org/blogs/tony-whitten.
