Keller Sisters & Lynch - When the red, red robin ...

Catherine Ann ("Taddie"), Annie Catherine ("Nan"), and Frank Lynch (vocals) with Ben Selvin's orchestra.
Although the three singers were siblings, a change of name was advisable when during their first successful tour the authorities learned that young Catherine (born in 1909) was still a minor and several appearances of the Lynch Trio had to be canceled for that reason. So Frank Lynch officially began to appear with the Keller Sisters, and nobody re-checked their birth certificates. After the 1920s their carreer seems to have lost some momentum, although they were still popular enough to appear in a Vitaphone movie in 1936. Their last commercial records, however, were made at the end of 1927.
