Have you ever heard of an older person going mad from LSD? Why not? Because they have passed the age where schizophrenia sets in thus no cross confusion to blame any madness on the acid.

The drugs don't induce permanent mental illness.

There are countless cases across the country

of people who still cling on to the belief that the LSD made their relative mad. It is ignorance and may be that some familys won't accept that it is in their genes. Peter Green the leader of the original Fleetwood Mac is one of these examples. John McVie is a retard! He blames Green's mental illness on acid.

Research has show that the so-called acid burnouts of the 60's who went schizophrenic

were destined to develop the disorder regardless

of any psychedelic use. it may have precipitated it by a few months or a couple years. Schizophrenia appears in the late teens to early 20's of one's life, This is when these acid burnouts happened.

@Sozlled I know the feeling. I used to smoke lots of weed and I built a lot of paranoia out of thinking far too much. I don't smoke anything now for the past 7 years and I hardly dabble with drugs but every now and then when i'm out with the right people i'll go with the flow and enjoy myself.

2CB is a nice psychedelic that is very similar to LSD but less intense and shorter duration. Very insightful and pretty experience so long as your with experienced trippers. Look after yourself.

@Dkcode I haven't really had much experience with psychedelics, i took weak LSD a couple of times but nothing major and i tried boiling up liberty caps once with a camp stove but we didn't do it properly. It's something i want to experience once but in a proper setting with people who wouldn't fuck around and freak me out.

I can't smoke weed these days, it's not paranoia exactly, it just makes me think too much. With the situation i'm in thinking too much is not good for me.

@Sozlled The every day western world seems to far detached from the psychedelic experience its boggles the mind. Everything seems so insignificant. It makes you wonder how we got where we are.

The government are afraid of LSD because it opens the mind and makes you realise things you are otherwise unaware of. Might make you see that your life is an empty illusion and that the new Ipad really doesn't make you happy.

I dnt think LSD should be illegal or any psychedelic. I really think hallucinogens will expand so many studies on the human body&brain. You only live once & Ive only done acid twice but it was such a beautiful thing to see that side of life & learn from it. Its been over 2 years since Ive done it, I personally dont think its addicting but I dnt believe someone should get sentenced to prison for possession for seeing life in a different perspective. Shulgin & Hoffman were a gift from god!
