@kingacres0 This is my favorite movie. Why, well Barbara Stanwyck is my only idol...guess that explains it. I love her in Ladies of Leisure, but everyone else in the film makes it worth watching too. Watch this movie 10 times LOL and you might see why I love it. I know I'm probably a nut. Next favorite is Night Nurse. I like Buster Keaton in Free and Easy too. Especially that Free and Easy dance number. Also like The Smiling Lieutenant where Claudette Colbert and Miriam Hopkins fight.

This film was so awful that it was good. Barbara Stanwyck carries it all and makes ti worthwhile right to the bitter end. Worth seeing just for her.

Stanwyck's first good movie role, and her first work with Capra. She got this part because of Frank Fay, her future drunken ex-husband.
