  • You are right..... It seems to be running slow. i run this on a C2D E8200 on a Zotac 9300 with onboard graphics and it runs super fast. Maybe also because Im using a SSD?

  • @MusiqheadRadio

its a bit slow cause most emulators dont react well when you try to record the screen while playing.

i am using SSDs too running in Raid0. When i dont record the games runs superfast

  • very slow :D on ur pc

  • @Robobbly

You people and your comments... from your profile i see you haven't posted any serious games apart from one old mame video. So you should know that certain game emulators don't react very well to Recording with Fraps or any other software and they quit giving you an error or have a huge drop down in speed Vivanonno is such an example. Anyways if you know of any better recording software you let me know.i hate recording the monitor with a camera is lame.

  • @AlienXenomorph Ok well please next time explain to us what the video is about please, it dident make much sense. The way i do it well is generaly have the real arcade hardware, but although this gets complecated, you need to get the video out of the computer i use compersite video, then put it back into another computer with a compersite video recorder, then there will be NO slowdown what so ever :D Although it does require 2 computers. Also its not the emulator that reacts is the resource use

  • @Robobbly

If you check all my videos you will see that there are some emulator games that you cant capture with software techniques cause the emulator crashes if you use the recording software at the same time. In those cases i do use the tv-out function of the gpu and capture using another pc and tv-tuner, for example "XGRA GameCube Core2Quad Windows7" was captured via TV-out but i don't really like the quality of the tv-out because the resolution is not as high as the original game.

  • @AlienXenomorph Ok then, yep or you could use HDMI with an HDMI recorder although hdmi recorders are trés expensive. Its a shame also that vivanonno has to command line executes, because i would like to make my driving cabinet boot up into vivanonno but i cant find a way, unless i write a program to click the mouse for me, have you got an idears? Thanks rob, i subbed and friended
