OD/dist. pedals are used before the amps preamp, not in the loop. And if you've got an SS Crate, I'd suggest you save your money to get a good small tube amp first.

@diegoarmandoblues Tried both out today, and the BB seemed way more versatile and sounds amazing, so i took the BB.

wow....i really love that overdrive tone where the gain is rolled back all d way and the volume all the way up.... Would i be better off buying an AC booster instead? i mostly play rhythm due to lack of band members

Hello andy! what do you prefer between this pedal and ibanez ts808? thanks...

Great demo again, thank you! I'm looking for a crunch tone for less gain sounds. I have a Mesa F50, but it's overdrive channel seems too heavy, and not sounding crunchy well. So which pedal should I use on clean channel to get some good crunch sounds? Much appreciate for responses.

@ProGuitarShopDemos Thanks guys, your're always really helpfull !
Hi PGS ! I'm looking for a boost/gain/overdrive/distortion pedal to boost my rhythm sound on the dirty cannel of a Orange Rockerverb 100 MK2. I've got a Ibanez TS-9 but it doesn't seem to do the job : not enough volume and to much high end. Do you think this Xotic BB preamp should to the job ??! I need help please !
Cheers, Will.

@willguitar83 - Yes, the BB Pre would do a fine job in that application. It has a much flatter frequency response and more output than the TS9 . You might also look at the Xotic AC Booster if you don't need the BB's gain. Thanks!

Pro guitar shop guys - Have you tried this with the AC15HH ? I'm looking for a pedal like this to go with mine.
Thanks.

No we haven't. But it would get a pretty dirty tone if that's what you're looking for. The best way is to try one out with Your rig, since everyone's rig will vary. Thanks,
PGS
