Another thought about suck/puff - it might be easier if you can circular-breathe. But that's no shortcut either - it's another high-frustration skill.

2 most difficult things:
- Close off the reed. Usually we just do it enough to stop the vibration. Now you have to make the entire reed _seal_ by cutting off all the air.
- Suck-then-puff. Stop the suction and immediately puff out a small breath. Almost impossible - almost!
Neither move can really be described - you only know them by the result. They require dedicated "dumb" practicing - pure physical repetition. The mind has to stay focused, but it can't help. So frustration is built in!
