And as for having 4 wives..........the prophet Muhammad at any one time had no more than 4 wives. Yes in total he was married more than 4 times. For example say I have 4 wives and 1 of them passes away I can marry another....so I married more than 4 times and I had more than 4 wives but not at any one time!!
