Now about intelligence; a person is born with a certain range of IQ and no matter what environment they were brought up in they will not surpass their maximum IQ. To say that a person's IQ is solely based on their environment is once again ignorant and ridiculous. The nature vs. nurture debate has been long over; it is now believed that nature and nurture together shape a person. Please do research before you write something like this because some people will, then, believe false information.

This is so wrong I don't even know where to begin. Let us start with our brains; at one point in time there were around 15 different types of 'human' species and now there is only one. For the amount of space and time I have I believe this shows us that human evolution exists. Human's are evolving even now and to say that our brains are the same as they were at the beginning of humans is ignorant and ridiculous. Try looking up the evolution of human skulls over time.

That is what they used to believe but now they know some fears are innate.

he didn't 'know' to be afraid, but the sound itself isn't a nice sound. it just causes a natural reaction, every kid who hears a loud noise would eventually become afraid of it if it's repeated enough times.

People at the top of society were privately educated. It's is mostly environmental, but obviously nature puts limits on us. Take a very intelligent person, and bring them up in a bad home, send them to a bad school, they won't get far. Take an unintelligent person, brought up by good parents and sent to the best schools, they'll excel. Think of it this way, humans haven't gotten any smarter than when they lived in caves, but our knowledge has grown. Brains are exactly the same size.

It still amazed me how many people feel compelled to view the nature/nurture argument as necessarily one side or the other when anyone who has spent their life with their eyes and mind open can see it's plainly a combination of both. Is our behaviour influenced by our genes? Of course it is. Is it influenced by our environment and upbringing? Of course it is.
