  • Harry James is like god for me. Armstrong is "only" trumpet player. That's my opinion

  • @greenstboy Outside Satchmo, Harry Sound was it in my opinion. So rich, powerful, nuanced and luscious.

    He actually have alot of credit for his sound to Louis Armstrong, they both have that ridiculous huge core to their sound.

  • That unforgettable Harry James sound! How many kids started the trumpet because of him? (and to get a Betty Grable type girl!)
