In 1967, Delma Freeman, Jr. conducted a low subsonic flight and force investigation of a Supersonic Transport Model with a highly swept arrow wing. For all flights, the model had wing leading edge flaps, a trailing edge extension, and a wing root notch. In addition, a high lift canard surface was used for some tests at the higher angles of attack. The test was conducted in the Full Scale Tunnel at NASA Langley Research Center.
