Cape Cod is being covered with liter in the form of 2" plastic disks from the Hooksett, NH wastewater treatment facilities. The disks were released when heavy rain allowed the disks to overflow into the Merrimack River then into the Gulf of Maine. The Cape is being cover both on bay and ocean side. It is gross! Who is going to clean up this mess just before we get ready for the summer season???

  • im in construction, ive had the privilege of updating a few waste water facility's.... 99 percent of these places dump the waste into nearby rivers, which often flow to water reservoirs... sure it is heavily treated, and im sure it is as clean as poland spring! (not)
