This is how avast 4.8 pro deals with the EICAR.com test virus! Avast doesn't allow it to download so nothing happens and my computer is kept safe and sound!

I have tried this, but only is detected instantly when I use Internet Explorer.
In Firefox it just downloads, I have to manually scan my download folder for detection.
BTW
I also use Avast! Pro 4.8 ;)

cool im using avira prem at the moment but avast is still good!
alot better than AVG that will not even install on my pc!!!
