@tehkoalainsurgency First off, please post your "facts" that you claim. Second, not solving crimes doesn't mean they're not doing their job. It means they don't have enough evidence. Simply having too little information doesn't mean anything. Besides, if there wasn't so much crime or criminals there wouldn't be so many cases to solve.

Cops, statistically, are among the worst employees/workers at completing their jobs, their solved-case ratio is so incredibly low, it is a reason why people don't trust the police. A vast majority of reported cases are NEVER solved. That is a hard statistical fact. On top of that you throw a disregard for human lives and abuse of power, then all of a sudden you get the most hated organization in America after the IRS.
