We have to Fight on Health Rights for all

This is a call to everyone to fight for our right to live and live well. Why should we have a country so devoted to life not protect it while we are living why is this not a moral issue healthcare for everyone. This is not about ideology this is about people living breathing people who count as much as you do. I may have health care but why doesn't everyone have health care?

i feel bad...i really do, but at the same time it's not fair to compare our Healthcare situation with people dying over seas...thats what i'm assuming you mean by your 13 friends coming home in caskets. The thing about healthcare is that doctors get paid 6 figure salaries, and the workers in the US don't wanna pay for doctors to service strangers if they can't even get medical insurance themselves! Is it right that some fulltime workers can't afford insurance, but low to no income get govt. ins?

I mean all the soldiers who come home with ptsd who do not get treatment those who fought for our freedoms who are not getting the car they need now. I'm talking about the greater good not what is fair if the world was fair the world would be a far calmer then it is today. What is fair for the great number is less fair for the small number it is our decision to ask what is moral and leaving out healthcare is not moral.

Do you think the Government is going to be more responsible with giving health care out to its citizens? The government will ration out health care and run it like a business. Healthcare is not a right... because I will have to pay for your health care, but I do have a right to my own income and I will be damned if 50% of my paycheck will taken away because someone has a cold or isn't smart enough to get a job that has insurance. Medicare is FROM the Government. Take care of yourself.

healthcare is NOT a right. rights are rooted in property. Healthcare "rights" are "rights" to OTHER people's property.

of course, that's not, in any way, a right. Rights are rooted in self-ownership.

health care is NOT a right. if someone goes through their educational life and does NOTHING gets F's all the time and doesn't go to college. then they cant get a good job our pay for heath coverage because of the position they put on themselfs. then you want the hardworking A student to PAY FOR HIS? (through taxes) thats unfair. there are some exceptions but universial heath care is wrong and doesn't work. as a canadian. they HATE IT!!! messege back with a response
