I agree, but I must admit I watched the entire video only because I was mesmerized by the beauty of the kinetic typography.

@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER this video was created from australia. In Australia generally we have to levels of nurses RN- which is a university degree also known as a division 1 nurse then there is a division 2 nurse which isnt a degree just a certificate course runs for about 1 year. In Australia generally specialised nurses earn the big money e.g. theatre that have further studied for many many years. However the point is from the ward nurse to the nurse practioner they all work very hard.

@marym0n Considering they are both at about the same level of skill: Professionals, yes.

@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER - Are you seriously comparing the 2?!?!?!?!?!?
-
We need to stick together and raise one voice to get better conditions!!! Only when we do that will people take us seriously!!!!

@nodrogMelb A registered nurse in the United States of America makes on average $70 000 a year, that's not bad. An elementary school teacher on the other hand earns on average $50 000 a year. Stop complaining!!!

@nodrogMelb I can agree, but I think we are forgetting that there are tons of LPN's who are being pushed out of the hospitals. Many of us have far surpassed the experience of many RN's, maybe if they would make a bridge program there wouldn't be such a shortage, and you are absolutely right the pay does not fit the job!!!!
I have 3 friends who are qualified nurses - two do not work as nurses anymore as the pay and conditions are so poor - the other would rather not and is considering her options - she sent me this clip.
Wake up! - people (and specifically Women) aren't going to be sucked in to these caring professions and get paid peanuts anymore.
