I was thinking about how Christianity is criticized for having human sacrifice in it, as if human sacrifice is only a religious 'rite'

then I thought of a bit by George Carlin. Went something like, whenever some guy comes along and tells us to try to get along with each other and love each other, we know what to do with those guys, right?

@MRRJD2 That's not atheism, that's cosmology and a bit of biology. You didn't just diss the beliefs of atheists, you're mocking the results gained by the hard work of scientist for the last couple centuries, and the beliefs of every competent scientist alive today.

@MiloBoz Okay, I'm going to ignore the stuff that just proves you don't know anything about cosmology (Origins of the Universe For Dummies - it's an actual book, find it, you need its help) and move on to the genetics issue - if we all descended from one individual, then we would have all the crippling genetic defects inbreeding causes, and we'd probably be extinct. If you're talking about Y-chromosomal Adam, that's a completely different thing.
