Skiken am Fläming-Skate (auf der Fläming-Skate in Brandenburg), auf reinem Asphalt, im Sommer 2008 bei 3 - 4 bft Wind (in Böen 5), wie man zum Teil an der flatternden Hose sehen kann
Awesome video. I am in Fresno, California and never heard of skiken except by accident. It so happened a local online retailer here sells Skikes so bought some and poles. There are on instructional videos or anything in english so I actually have been learning technique by watching these videos. I have to say it is a real workout. Should be posting some of my ameaturish experiences shortly. :) Great skiken, I'm envious.
Thank You! I was in Munch last year, and was impressed with the cycle path network. Sadly, I doubt I will ever see such wonderful cycle/skating paths as shown in the video here in the Uk
From personal experience I have to say that, still, in general the quality of surfaces provided for cyclists is much higher that in the UK (the tarmac is much smother and curbs are more bike friendly). Still I enjoyed cycling in the UK very much, since drivers (in the countryside) are very polite and take great care.
Such paths are generally found in many rural areas of Germany. In most cities there are also paved cycling paths, however, their quality is often issue of debate.
Wow, what great paths you have for cycling/skiking, something that is sadly lacking here in the UK, and the ones we do have are crowded and covered in dog pooh. I take it this is Denmark, am I right?
consider yourself lucky to have such great paths to skike/cycle on, something we sadly lack here in the UK!! Thanks for the post, it really looks great!

Brandenburg is in north-eastern Germany.
