vblog: RIP Mercury vapor and magnetic fluorescent lights

Hey. This is David Lay, musician, comedian and OCD affected guy. I heard that mercury vapor lights as well as classic electromagnetic fluorescent lights will become illegal in 2008 to make way for metal halide and electronic fluorescents and I'm gonna miss the pretty blue green color of the MV light as well as the hum and classic cool white color of classic fluorescents. Yes, as Ned Flanders once said on The Simpsons, they hum like angels. Call me weird if you will, I have OCD. I like these things. And as far as why I'm posting this, well watch the vid. My camera was running out of juice before I was done so all I could conclude the vid with was merely this: Send me your old ballasts.
