This is the third variation in evolution of the Canadian Wonderbra advertisements. The music is now sung by a woman, and the tag line says "We care about the woman you are." These shifts were an acknowledgment of the Feminist Movement of the era. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderbra

  • What do you wear if you actually DON'T care about the woman you are? What if she doesn't like what she sees - is she still allowed to enjoy being "she"? When she's lookin' good, she feels good, but what if she's just lookin' so - so? Does she then feel ambivalent about herself and the many facets of daily life?

This isn't a brassiere commercial. It's an existential gauntlet.

  • Not even subtle. He was like, "Hey, nice headlights".
