@cboncklis because music was a true art then, today, our "artists" are chosen for us and tis' about nothing but the money.

@cboncklis Not live ... lip syncing i am afraid ... but you are right in that these boys "can" sing live beautifully.
-
That was a live performance not lip synced
-
@cboncklis that may be because all TV performances during 50s-60s-70s were lip-synced due to audio/video technology not being as developed as it is now ;) Yes, by that I mean that this performance was also lip-sync. Not that there would be anything wrong with that of course.

Now THAT'S a great 'stache! They never seemed to be sporting one at the same time for some reason, though. Probably a good thing. Universe woulda been out of balance ;-)

@yrkanak when did he say that? I'm sure it was hard to make an equal workload with paul playing the guitar. In call me al apparently it's what simon thought of Garfunkel in the official video
-
Paul kind of looks like Freddie Mercury.
If the majority of today's artists would be asked to sing a song live the way they did it back then, they would have a nervous breakdown and call in sick before the show.

@MandyAboutFace As sure as I'm hetero, there is something too revealing (to me) about certain men's lips that is "too sexy." And Art Garfunkel's cause that reaction....so I guess they must be sexy.
