Kevin Costner and Devil Rays

Kevin Costner singing with his band at The Rays (New Uniform) fashion show in Straub Park, St. Petersburg, Florida. The Devil Rays dropped the "Devil" from their team's name and got new uniforms. Kevin was there to help them celebrate their new beginning. It was followed by fireworks. It was a fun night! Good luck "Rays". When my Boston guys are not in town I support you as much as I can. Living in NH most of my life I still love my Red Sox. You are a great team too Rays! 0:-)

OK, I'm following you now. I also hated the new jerseys but after going to some spring training games they have grown on me, although I still wear my old white & green one to the games. It has autographs on it so I will continue to wear it. I "think" the star you refer to is suppose to be a ray of sunshine representing Florida's sunshine state. Although I like your explanation better. The Rays are doing well. I so enjoyed watching them beat the Yankees Fri night 13-4 & today 6-3 GOoo Rays! 0:-)

I was there Costner was awesome. The new uniforms w/ the sunburst and new team name, suck though.

Sadly, I agree. I like the old uniforms better and I like the Tropicana. I see no need to change any of it. The parking will be ridiculous at the new place. Unless we get there several hours earlier, we'll all be walking in 90 plus heat searching for spaces and be sweaty and exhausted by the time we get inside to the game. That's relaxing? 0:-/
