@Kydos37 Of course not. The Junon cannon was built to fire at Wutai. But by the time of completion the war with Wutai was already over.

I'll bet they had a lot of fun writing and animating this sequence back in the day...

What I don't get is why they decided to build a gigantic cannon backed up by a couple of dozen smaller guns haha did they really anticipate fighting something as big as a Weapon?.
