Shit.......thats one of the reasons i got out. I dont regret enlisting, but I felt that my time was up, because i got tired of taking orders after 8 years.

@1factoid im currently stationed on fort benning in the army and stuck with whether i should stick out my last remaining years (while the country burns) or just simply go home (before its too late). i want to be there to protect my family who is over a thousand miles away, but i don't want to abandon my unit or my post. it seems like a lost cause to stay here when the government and its masters have already won (they have destroyed the currency, the manufacturing base, the moral and work ethic).

My space was allowed on the DOD server until a Lt. at Ft. Gordon hung himself and left a suicide note/video (showing all the excessive drunkenness and shit life soldiers lived at at Gordon) but they could only block the DOD server until now, now they are starting to block some sites on certain bases even in the barracks. Fuck the war in Iraq....is it worth all those good people dying??? No its not! --USMC/US Army 8 yrs

One of the most important duties soldiers have, which has always been recognized by the US military, is the soldier's obligation to question and/or disobey orders which are illegal and immoral.
