JAWS- Big Waves

Videos I took from the world famous Jaws(Peahi) from a cliff(the one across from the "public" one). This was pretty much the best break of the winter this year, waves of about 15-20 feet, 25 feet in the sets. Later, next morning, it reached up to 30 feet(I didn't want to walk down all the way across the pineapple fields though). Of course Jaws can get to more than 60 feet but so far that hasnt happened this year, it probably won't till next winter. You are listening to A-Punk by Vampires Weekend. Enjoy.

Thanks for the comment! Probably because the break was so close to shore. And if you look carefully the waves were closing pretty quickly, not the best surfing conditions!

Thats so cool! What kind of dolphins did you see in Florida? Were they bottlenose?

Yes, I think we save several different pods of bachelor bottlenose dolphin males.

It's so rewarding and interesting to watch dolphins and whales in the wild :D
