I gotta question for you
I was trying to model a 9 cylinder radial in a CAD system and I couldn't get it to work right. Now, either the slave connecting rods are not equispaced around the master rod at 40 degree angles, or the PCD of the slave rod journals is eccentric, or the slave connecting rods are all different lengths. I've seen some photos of an R-2800 master connecting rod and it is very difficult to see how they designed it. Do you know how it is designed?
