Vidcast 1: CU Denver students on Medical Mission & International Rotation

Common Ground International understands the need to bridge the language and culture gaps between English and Spanish speakers especially in the field of medicine. Every year we offer a medical mission and international rotation opportunity in Costa Rica. CU Denver pharmacy students recently arrived in Costa Rica for a 6-week language immersion and international rotation. They will work in local pharmacies and volunteer with local clinics, practicing their Spanish speaking skills and medical Spanish knowledge. Over the next few weeks we will see these young professionals use their language and medical skills, help those in need of medical attention, and experience and understand the Latino culture.
