The Animated short my friend & I created for our final. Inspired by Mexican folK art and the fables and myths of Mexico. Centers around "El Cucuy" or the boogeyman and his quest to find something very dear, to him...

  • Margarita is super cute lol!

  • its La Llorona.

  • Aw!! I love this! I wish there was more stuff like this out there.

  • Well, just like el cucuy is sorta the boogeyman, she is too. She's called La Llorona, the Crying Woman. She's a story told to make bad kids be good...and, yes, Frida's eyebrows are, like, immortal. Even the Aztecs knew about them, and worshiped them as a high god. You have NO IDEA how many human hearts were knifed in honor of the Great Kahlo Eyebrows. lol :)

  • Ha! This is awesome. :o) (Loved Frida.)

  • I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS!! Frida Kahlo even kept her brows in death...haha!! Who was the coughing, hacking woman supposed to be? Anyone from history or just a fictional character?

  • Excellent cartoon! You should submit this to film festivals!

  • Very cute and Funny. Great Job

  • Cute! I love the character designs and and the films vibrant look!
