could my 3 yr old dog get parvo? She did have the shot for it but 6 dogs around here have died with what looks like parvo! Also I have a 7 yr old rottie.

@AnthonyMorales21 there is a new strain of parvo that came out a couple years ago that could attack older dogs that were unvacccinated. ask your vet. keep your dogs vaccines up to date.

@AnthonyMorales21 oh yeah they can. It's HIGHLY recommended that dogs get vaccinated.

I just lost my puppy to parvo, i had her for a week and she got parvo before we had the chance to get her any vaccines. within a few days of her showing symptoms such as stopped eating, less active (sleeping most of the day) diarria and vomiting she passed on. If your dog is showing these symptoms especially a puppy get them to a vet immediately. Although theres no cure for parvo, the best you can do is keep give them fluids and and whatever is needed to just hope that they make it.

Try giving him plenty of fluids and anything so it doesn't get dehidrated and he can survive. Dogs with PARVO have a chance just take it to the vet and be there for him. I am sorry I know how horrible it is to see your best buddy go through that. Good Luck.

Thanks for watching the video. I had a dog that died of Parvo Virus. It is a horrible sickness. It is too painful to watch your dog go through that.
