I Decided to recreate shot for shot the amazing montage from Doctor Who @
The Proms for the audience that didn't see it on Sunday due to AV
issues and anyone else who wasn't there...

  • Thanks, Glad you like it, it was one of the highlights.

  • When the audience starts cheering at 0:08, the Doctor looks like he's going, "What's that, cheering for me, hmm? Speak up boy."

  • I like how when the 5th Doctor drops Peri we hear a cymbal crash in the background

  • Oh my time lord... More than brilliance... Once Vale Decem came on, well I'll be under my covers weeping. It's too beautiful and painful.

  • About 4:55 is where I get the goosebumps, because I know what is coming...

  • You did an amazing job synching up all of the montage to the music. There's still some of it out of synch, but you managed to get a few extra frames to 4 and 7.

  • you now Vale Decem? Well translated to english it means ten good-bye!

So goodbye ten, good bye tenth doctor!

  • did you notice that the loudest cheer was for david tennant?

  • I think Vale Decem is more effective live.

  • While I admit I do still chuckle at the cheesiness of the spinning heads of multiple Patrick Troughtons and the faces he makes, I had never really noticed how sad it was/is to see the 2nd Doctor covering his head as his entire body spins hopelessly in the void. I actually almost wanna cry when I see it. Especially, when you consider the 11th Doctor's "It always hurts." answer when Sarah Jane asked him if his regeneration from the 10th Doctor hurt.

  • @kamwrites I know also David had about a third of the video!!

  • @jdtbob You're very welcome.

  • @kamwrites thanks for that sweeping generalization!
