I always enjoyed Tigon far better then their rival Hammer. Tony Tenser wasn't afraid to take his company into other areas other then staying with the same format of Frankenstein and Dracula as Hammer did. My favorites were The Haunted House of Horror (made near me in Banks Hall and Southport's Birkdale Sands Hotel - which in it's final year became Tenser's main office until its demolition in 1969.)
Witchfinder General also has to rank as one of the best British Horror Films of its era.
