traxxas summit climbing in Moab Utah

My Summit crawlin in moab. had much better video but lost it for some reason. Still pretty kick ass. Dont ask me about the outfit? all you can do is laugh... I did make it all the way up those rocks but as u can see my camera woman- wife fell and busted the camera..

one trick I learned at rcp crawlers near or in Montclair CA, people there, line the inside of there front tires with lots of those small weights. this keeps the front end down, and because the weight is inside your front tires, you don't see it. but it does make your truck much heavier to lift and carry, but for climping, it's just amaxing how well it workds.

@mindthoughts1974 Ya I thought about weighting the tires but if you have ever picked up a summit with both batterys in it, the thing is crazy heavy and I have a few ax 10s that are for serious climbing. the summit just mashes over and around anything they are sweet! best all around Rc monster truck if you can only afford to have one~!

It's a cool truck. What kind of angle are we actually looking at right there? It's not possible to judge it head on. my guess is that the part you walked up is about 40 degrees,(centigrade judging by your outfit LOL ) but what about above that. I mean, 45 degrees is good for a RTR 'serious toy'. ;~)

Some of the comments on here are rediculous- its slow... Duh he is crawling- looks like dead batteries... Duh he is crawling- my jato could drive right up that... Your an idiot, your jato wouldn't get 10 feet up that, its a 2x4 nitro street truck... Some people! Nice crawling btw man, I'm going to take a few trucks out to Moab soon. Kick ass place to play.

Nice climb! I hope to get a Summit soon, and it was a good idea to have someone standing in view to give an idea how steep it was... just, next time... PUT A SHIRT ON! =P
