im thinking of getting a starlet ep82. not sure about the engine choice though. either the 1.3 turbo or the paseo 1.5 turbo engine. what can get the most power for the least money?

@sinister0182 the right combination is the paseo block with the 1.3 jdm turbo starlet engine head,

that with some fresh pistons should give you best price/torque+hp output, another way it to go forged in the 1.3litter block, but if you ever where going to compare the 2 set ups you will see that you would need more boost to make the same power with the 1.5litter block set up , and you will have more turbo lag and less torque if you still with the small block, so ,,,(check comment #2)

@sinister0182 comment #2 - so if i were to build a project like that aiming at 300hp+ i would go with the more reliable (due to higher displacement thus less boost to make the same power ,less stress to the internals , lower tempretures, more fun with the throttle wide open without looking at the tempreture gauge) 1.5litter combo :)) hope i covered your question, thanks or posting :)
