because he wanted a bigger cut of the money with regard to merchandise. it was a point of contention with them. johnny and joey were kind of like gene and paul always picking on ace and peter and making all the monet decsions.. only they rode dee dee and marky and ritchie untill they quit and in marks case returned and had to take even more crap. reade dee dee;s book labotomy. it tells the real story of the Ramones.

I feel like RIchie was the Ramones best drummer. He had a way of really using his drumming to take a song to the next level. Like the little drumming fills that he did in "Endless Vacation." I don't know why the Ramones hate Ritchie so much, but they made one of their best albums ("Too Tough to Die") with Ritche and he and Dee Dee really knocked out some kick ass songs. If anyone knows more about why they hate Ritchie, please let me know!

their view is blocked by crap like eminem and 50 cent,
