@TheLadyMichele - contrails are different than cloud seeding. Cloud seeding causes no trails, isn;t done at high attitudes...they shoot ice flares into specific rain clouds from small planes or rockets on the ground...

contrails come from jets and can persist and spread if the conditions are right.
