I am collecting items right now in my house to deliver to these people. We have temples and churches up here in Rhinebeck NY who care. We are sending a truck of things to help. First off jackass you bothered me on my post so follow what you preach and second off if the ENTIRE NATION would learn from Katrina half the mess would not happen. The Weather people for 6 DAYS said this was going to be a dangrous storm and half the people ignored it its the way it is. Stop blaming the govenment for the big bad wolf for your houses being blowen away and lives ruin because by now people should depend on themselves and no one else learn from Katrina learn from watching this...

I don't depend on the news, I was trying to help my friend who may not understand how dangerous this was, but I begged them to evacuate. I knew that people were in deep trouble. Some people don't have common sense like I do and they should not send out inaccurate information to the public and they are wrong for doing so. These people should not be told to clean this up if there is sewage and oil etc...this is unsanitary and it could be hazardous to their health. I am appalled that the insurance company doesn't care about these people and telling them to clean up this toxic mess. Don't clean it up. ..but you don't have computers so you can't hear me.

As soon as they get gasoline I bet all these people will start driving their SUV's, leaving engines running with air conditioning while they run inside the grocery store.....no thought at all about GLOBAL WARMING. (I am from New York so I know how they behave!)

When Americans start demanding alternative energy and vehicles that get 50 miles per gallon like they have in the rest of the world........pulling politicians right out of their gas guzzling limosines, then I will have some sympathy.
