  • Lovecraft's mythology is so cool. Anybody into the Chaosium RPG should definitely be reading his work, especially his Cthulhu cycle...though he Dream cycle is also very, very good. Some of the best horror/fantasy ever written. Thats not to mention that its written in the very pulpy style of the 1910's and 1920's much like Robert E,. Howards' Conan the Barbarians stories, I love that stuff.

  • I like these reviews! Keep at it, they are really informative!

  • Mr Laban Shrewsbury (sic?) is an August Derleth creation.

  • Great review, Kurt! *thumbs up*

  • Please review Hot War.

Also, how much minimum do you usually playtest these games before reviewing them?

  • Great! I had no idea these books were out. i will have to pick up the first one ASAP. One of my favorite Cthulhu campaigns I ever ran was character all as Miskatonic freshmen. Then I ran four mini-campaigns called year 1, year 2 and so on. They all graduated (still sane!). Go pods!

  • Well done Kurt. Gotta get Arkham Now, but I am still waiting for Delta Green-Targets of Opportunity.

  • Growing some Hair there Kurt? FTW, digging it.

  • Is it just me, or is the audio off by the tiniest of fractions?

Great episode as always. I used to be an avid RPG'er, so this is a nice way to keep up with "the biz" :)

  • @OriginalNeomoon Interesting. Are you not a fan of percentage-based systems in general, or just Chaosium's implementation? I hear you on the sleep... need more myself :).
