Northwest Performance Diesel stopped in at Dynomite Diesel Performance to get dyno-ed before heading to Portland International Raceway for the first points drag of the season. 650HP and 1200 lbs torque with a loose turbo (we found out during our pre-race inspection). '07 Dodge Classic, 5.9 Cummins, Twin Turbo, Smarty w/TNT software and injecting straight water and propane. If I told you more I'd have to kill ya...

Also know that the life of your transmission and other drive-train components can be drastically reduced depending on your driving style. :-)

  • @Mattman7342

Smarty S-03 for an '01 and maybe some 90hp injectors and you'll feel quite a boost (no pun intended, or maybe it was, lol.) I would definitely recommend some gauges if you add any programming or performance parts. At the least an EGT reading.

  • I have a 96 2500 5.9 turbo diesel that a friend gave to me how do i increase H.P.

  • @ToniMattTony

Call me for pricing. We can ship anywhere in the US.

  • can you tell me what u did to get the HP to 650 and did you have to change the crank case " pistons, rings, rods "? i also hear that cylinder # 6 is bad for colapsing on the 5.9

  • @euromix12

Most of the specs are in the description. Have not changed anything on the motor, it's basically stock, except for programming and bolt-ons.

Numbers 5 and 6 are somewhat notorious. There are mods for adding extra coolant flow to the rear of the block to prevent overheating of the number 6 cylinder. Unless you do a lot of seriously heavy towing, or a lot of racing, this mod would not be worth the cost of installation. You could do it yourself but, fair warning, but it's a bitch.

I know. It makes proud men cower and scares the ladies panties right off.

  • I think everyone who wants to come on diesel video's to talk crap about pollution should get their butts off the computer and go pick up a freaking cup or something, would do a lot more for the world.

  • It's it true the high HP diesel trucks run race gas and diesel together. Sorry for the dumb ? I'm new the diesel truck just got my first diesel truck. 7.3 powerstroke with mod' s

  • @dilvidor I seen you answered the one guys question so, How do i increase overall performance in a 2001 5.9 cummins not an HO either, like more hp and trq

  • @DrDoWork not to mention most of them idiots that bitch bout diesels have no idea that a 'GAS" vehical is 10 times worse. soot sucks but its the CO gases that really kill.

  • @ToniMattTony remove the fuel plate, or get a smaller # one, governer springs, injectors, there is a lot you can do to a 12v

  • And by the way this truck is AWESOME!! I love diesels especially the cummins, and the best place for it is in a dodge.

  • @565customz wow comparing bikes to trucks!? This truck would perform really well on the drag strip and it weighs around 7000lbs, that's nearly 10 times as much as your bike. If ur bike was as big an heavy as this truck it would be really slow. And if the truck had the same amount of HP per pound as ur bike, the truck would kick ur ass.

  • @tonyf686 Its too small thats why he wants to make his size smaller by driving a smart car and not a cummins!

  • @senser1080 in what ways does your penis fail to satisfy you?
