Sherlock and John have been friends for a while, but John has started to notice a change in Sherlock and realises he might want other things now.
They get into arguments and every time Sherlock convinces John he's wrong. But eventually John realises Sherlock's feelings for him won't go away and he confronts Sherlock. Telling him he's leaving...

At first I was going to make John the lovesick puppy, but I decided I'd put him in that position before, so now it's Sherlock's love that's unrequited.
