  • Im in New Zealand now age 57 loved listening to caroline in the early 60s on my first ever tranny radio under the sheets at night lol terrified of the post office fine of 5 pounds! ha ,we where all rebels, what a great time !

  • I'm sure it'd be very interesting if it didn't break up every 2 seconds, as my broadband doesn't seem to keep up!

  • Nostalgia at its best.

  • Astounding that this has had hardly any views, when you think how many people listened to Caroline at the time.

However, It looks like Radio Caroline and the other the '60's pirates will soon be in the news again.

In April 2009 there is a film called "The boat that rocked" being released.

It's set on a North Sea Pirate station in 1966, and will hopefully introduce a whole new generation to those great stations which were listened to by millions at the time.

    Hurray!!

  • GREAT LADY
